Join the Manitoba Farm Writers and Broadcasters Association for a unique professional development and media opportunity on Monday, October 5, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Peak of the Market, 1200 King Edward Street, Winnipeg.

Hosted by CentrePort Canada, this exclusive event will provide MFWBA members and guests with an inside look at one of Manitoba’s leading produce organizations, along with an opportunity to learn more about CentrePort Canada’s role in international trade and transportation.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into Manitoba’s agricultural supply chain, develop story ideas for future coverage, and connect with fellow farm writers, communicators, and marketers.

Peak of the Market welcomes media interviews and photography on-site. When you RSVP, please let us know your name and title/publication, any topics you would like Peak of the Market to address, and whether you are interested in conducting interviews and/or taking photos.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress in layers, as the distribution centre is maintained at a cool temperature. High-visibility jackets will be provided during the tour.

Photography is welcome, so please bring a camera or smartphone. You may also wish to bring a notebook and pen or a voice recorder for taking notes. Feel free to invite a colleague who may be interested in MFWBA membership.

Cost for this event is $5 per person, payable by e-transfer to manitobafarmwriters@gmail.com or in cash at the event.
